‘Heart for the House’ is our annual opportunity to contribute collectively towards buildings, infrastructure, and social justice initiatives, enabling our church’s vision to become a reality and supporting life-changing resources locally and globally. This year, we want Heart for the House to be future-focused, with a fresh vision and clear picture of where we are heading and celebrating what we have accomplished through our contributions with an emphasis on the provisions and people.
This year’s theme, ‘Because He first loved us’, centres on loving God and loving one another; 1 John 4:19 (MSG) says, “First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first”. Christ’s command is evident: Loving God includes loving people. At the centre of this year’s theme is ‘love’ and the revelation and understanding of how we can better love one another.
